I went to what I used to call a "ranger flat-top" cut on Saturday. I have been advised by the barber it's actually a "high and tight flat-top". Maybe pics, sometime...
Well, evidently there has to be at least 4 fingers across width at the top of Army dos. This is high and tight, but shorter on top than a plain high and tight.

I thought marines got a high and tight and rangers got a three (or four?) fingers across?
But what do I know.

Maybe I can post pics soon.
Yeah, we called it a "high and tight" back when I was a young GI. My brother was a grunt and he called it a "motivation haircut".

It's a high and tight regardless of what service... :-)
Is it okay to say said haircut looks real nice?
Probably helps that I'm a fan of uber short hair on guys anyway, but still...
